In this creative piece, Rachael investigates the idea of ‘quasi recovery’, a term often used to describe a state of purgatory, discomfort, unease and anxiety that exists “halfway” towards a goal. It is a raw account of how preconceptions, stereotypes and arbitrary measures often only tell half a story, especially with relation to eating disorders and other mental health challenges.
