ADD THE EVENT TO YOUR CALENDAR

Integrity Initiative is coming to the Albany Boatshed Markets for a special one-off appearance.

This will be our very first market stall, and the only time we’ll be at the Boatshed Markets, making it a unique opportunity to connect with our team in person during our week-long visit to Albany.

Integrity Initiative is a lived-experience-led mental health charity focused on autonomy, dignity, and human rights in mental health conversations and care. Our work centres on community education, advocacy, and creating practical, accessible resources that support people navigating mental health systems, as well as their families, friends, and carers.

At the Markets, you’ll be able to meet our team, learn more about our mission, and explore a range of free mental health resources designed to be taken home and used or shared. We’ll also have Integrity Initiative merch available, along with information about upcoming projects, community initiatives, and ways to get involved or support our work.

We’re incredibly grateful for the chance to spend time in the Great Southern, learning from the local community and sharing conversations about mental health that are grounded in respect, inclusion, and lived experience. Being part of the Albany Boatshed Markets is a meaningful highlight of our week-long Albany trip, and we’d love to see you there.

The Albany Boatshed Markets are held every Sunday, rain, hail or shine, from 9am to 1pm at the Boatshed on Princess Royal Drive, Albany.

The Markets feature local growers and producers of fresh and gourmet foods, Great Southern wines, and a diverse range of products from talented local artisans. With live music each week, cooking demonstrations, plenty of parking, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a wonderful place to spend a Sunday morning.

Whether you’re a local resident or visiting the region, the Albany Boatshed Markets have something for everyone.

Recognition of Lived Experience

The Consumer/Survivor Movement calls for human rights, recognition, and justice for people with lived experience of mental health challenges, psychiatric treatment, and systemic coercion. Integrity Initiative’s work builds on this legacy. It is iterative, and shaped by the advocacy of those who came before us, across this and many intersecting movements

We acknowledge those who fought for a voice, those still navigating oppressive systems, those resisting in ways unseen, and those yet to come. We carry this work forward with a commitment to not only hope for a better future, but to actively challenge the conditions that have caused harm.

Acknowledgement of country

Integrity Initiative acknowledges the traditional custodians of the Boodjar on which we work, the Whadjuk Noongar people. We pay respect to Elders past and present, and extend our appreciation for their custodianship of so-called Australia. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
